The engineering team is growing rapidly and so is the company. They are setting up offices in Cardiff and Athens and they need a talented self-starter to develop the underlying software of their embedded sensing system.

You’ll analyse the product requirements, investigate, prototype and deliver innovative and feasible system solutions for the business' embedded products in collaboration with their multidisciplinary engineering team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the embedded system architecture and development of new features, system integration and unit testing and the development of algorithms for sensor data extraction and processing. You will be free to run experiments and build prototypes with unique approaches for problems.
You will collaborate with the Electronic Engineering team and contribute to design reviews and product documentation.
They firmly believe extraordinary people can come from a wide range of places – but we wouldn’t be surprised if the person who gets this role has:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience with Embedded systems development in C/C++
- Extensive experience with serial communication protocols: I2C, SPI, and UART
- Extensive experience is writing and integrating drivers for chipset (Power Management, Sensors, etc)
- Experience in quick prototyping using Arduino and Raspberry Pi
- Experience in wireless communication (RF, BLE, Wi-Fi, etc)
Nice to have experience with:
- LTE modules
- Zigbee and/or BLE.
